Hound Hours Snuffle Bowl
Short walks. Long days. Dinner just got interesting.
Scatter the kibble and your dog sniffs out every piece, nose deep in soft felt strips. Lay it flat for a harder hunt, or pull the cord and it's a bowl.

The cold months
It's dark at five. Your dog didn't get the memo.
When the weather turns, walks get shorter and the evenings get long. The energy doesn't go anywhere. It goes into the sofa, the shoes, and the stare that says "so what now?"
Dogs are built to use their noses. Give that nose a job and dinner turns from gone-in-seconds into a proper search.
- Turn any meal or a handful of treats into a sniff-and-search game.
- Good for rainy afternoons, late evenings and the days you can't get out much.
- No batteries, no screens, no noise.
How it works
Scatter. Sniff. Pack away.
Three ways to use one thing, and none of them need instructions for the dog.
-
Scatter
Lay it flat and sprinkle dry kibble or small treats over the strips. Push a few deeper for a harder game.
-
Sniff
Put it down and let your dog hunt. New to sniffing? Pull the cord so it's a bowl and the food is easier to find.
-
Pack away
Shake out the crumbs, pull the cord all the way and it closes into a small pouch for the cupboard or the car.
Mat or bowl
One pull of the cord changes the game.
Open, it's a wide snuffle mat where the food spreads out and takes some finding. Pull the drawstring and the edges rise into a bowl, so beginners, small dogs and tidy eaters can still play. Pull it tight and it's a pouch you can throw in a bag.
What it is
Simple, soft and made to be used.
Mat, bowl and pouch
A drawstring turns the flat mat into a bowl, then into a pouch for storage or travel.
Soft felt strips
Layers of felt strips hide the food so your dog has to sniff it out. Felt top, anti-slip cloth underneath.
Anti-slip base
A non-slip cloth underneath helps it stay put on hard floors. Very keen diggers may still push it around.
Room to hunt
About 17 inches across open as a mat and about 3 inches deep (supplier's measurements).
Three colours
Green and orange, pink and orange, or pink.
For supervised play
It's a game, not a chew toy. Stay close, and put it away when the food is gone.
Snuffle bowl or plain bowl
Same dinner. A lot more to do.
A plain bowl is perfect for water. For food, there's a more interesting way.
| What is compared | Hound Hours Snuffle Bowl | Plain bowl |

Delivery times are estimates from the supplier's tracked service and can run longer in busy periods, including the holidays.
FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
My dog chews everything. Is this for us?
Maybe not on day one. It's made of fabric, so it's a supervised game, not a chew toy. Stay close, and put it away as soon as the food is gone. If your dog eats fabric, this isn't the right toy.
Will it calm my dog down?
We won't promise that. Every dog is different. What it does is give your dog something to do with their nose, which plenty of dogs enjoy.
What can I put in it?
Dry kibble and small dry treats. Skip wet food, sauces and anything sticky, because they're hard to get out of the strips.
How do I clean it?
Shake out the crumbs after every use. For a proper clean, follow the care label that comes with it.
Is it big enough for my dog?
Open, it's about 17 inches across, which suits most small and medium dogs. Big dogs usually do best with it flat.
My dog doesn't get it. Now what?
Start with the bowl shape and a few smelly treats on top, where they're easy to find. Once your dog has the idea, push the food deeper or lay it flat. Our Rainy Day Sniff Games guide walks you through it step by step.
How long does delivery take?
Orders leave within 1 to 3 business days, and tracked delivery from our supplier's US warehouse usually takes about 11 days. You get the tracking number by email.
What's your return policy?
If it arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, or never arrives, email us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace it free or refund you, with nothing to send back. Changed your mind? Unused items in their original packaging can come back within 14 days of delivery: email us for the return address, pay the return postage, and we refund the item price when it arrives.
